Re: Question for the Vol fans

all i've ever heard is that VT doesn't have any wins over top 10 teams because they don't finish in the top 10

....obviously cal isn't gonna finish in the top 10 and even if they did it'd only be because they played UT early and not late

so i posed the question...would you count this as a win over a top 10 team and still criticize VT for having none

Would you count VT's win over Northeastern as a victory over a top 100 team?? Oh that's right they're I-AA, so I don't know what you chalk that up as.

Re: Question for the Vol fans

I've been on this board a long time, and I dont remember a whole lot of debate of VT winning top ten games. Pretty stupid argument if you ask me, some dude gets on here and talks about UT's OOC win when his school plays some AA school.

It was directed at me. Last year in the season ESPN mentioned it during a VT telecast. I brought it up in an argument.

Re: Question for the Vol fans

To deny the fact that VT plays cupcakes ooc and that they are a level below UT in terms of program standards is not an argument to me. There is no way anybody could prove otherwise on that.
